Testing in Capitalism
The SAT was originally designed as a tool for leveling the playing field for disadvantaged students, but its effectiveness has been questioned as wealthier families find ways to game the system. While standardized tests can provide a common ground for assessment, the reality is that new methods may still favor those with resources.
