  • Morning Routine

Scott Galloway's morning routine is anything but conventional. He humorously debunks the idea of a structured start to his day, admitting that meditation, journaling, and early rising play almost no role in his life. Instead, Scott enjoys late nights filled with writing, surfing the internet, and spending time with his dogs, often going to bed around 2 or 3 a.m.

I wake up about 05:00 a.m. i do a cold plunge and then I review my journaling from the evening before and then I do a bunch of breath work, and then I work out. I do a bunch of yoga, and then I do about an hour to an hour and a half of meditation. None of that is true.

    ---

His mornings start leisurely around 9 or 10 a.m., involving coffee, news, and occasional exercise, which he considers his antidepressant 1.

    Evening Preferences

Scott's preference for evening activities over morning ones is deeply rooted in his past experiences. He recounts his college days rowing crew at UCLA, which required early mornings and left him vowing never to rise early again. This aversion to mornings is complemented by his love for New York's vibrant nightlife, which he finds more appealing than California's daytime culture.

I decided after I left a crew that I would never get up early again in my life if I could help it.

    ---

Scott's routine reflects his belief that mornings are best spent leisurely, especially in Britain's gray weather, where he feels he's missing nothing by staying home with coffee 2.
